Ongoing Assistive Technology Support (OATS)...for when its all going wrong!

Assessments undertaken by Access SUMMIT will always include recommendations for appropriate warranty cover, but such cover will include repairs resulting from hardware and operating system failure only, not usually will not help resolve problems with the assistive technology resources or virus / malware infection.

The Access SUMMIT OATS Service is available to students who have had this resource recommended and approved by their Funding Bodies.

OATS Support can include telephone support, on-site and remote assistance. In those cases when such support cannot resolve your difficulties technical intervention by our technician will be required.

In addition, OATS can help for those occasions during your course when you need extra assistance with a piece of assistive technology or some additional training.
