Guide to Using OPUS
This step-by-step guide will teach you how to use the OPUS system, which is required in order for your timesheets to be approved. Click on the images below to enlarge them.
Following a support session you will receive an email giving the session details and asking for your “approval”. These emails come directly from the OPUS system. Providing the details are correct it is important that you ‘approve’ the session by following the steps below.
Step 2: Copy the Authentication Code
Highlight the Authentication Code, right-click and choose ‘copy’.
Step 3: Load the OPUS Website
Clicking the ‘Click here’ link in the email will take you to the OPUS website, where you will be asked to login.
Step 4: Enter the Authentication Code
Right click on the login box and ‘paste’ the Authentication Code that you copied from the email in Step 2, and press the button labelled ‘Submit’.
Step 5: Approve Your Sessions
Once you’re logged in, you’ll be shown a list of the support sessions needing approval. For each one, choose whether to ‘accept’ or ‘reject’ it, then click ‘Submit’.
Step 6: Finished!
That’s it! Please note that if you received support from a number of support workers then you will have to repeat the process for each email you received.
